Welcome to the Rotary Heritage Trail

We will compile a list of  historical interest in and around Braunton.

Over the years many buildings have changed their use once, twice and in some cases many more times. Will we remember that history? Possibly we may, but the next generation and future generations may not, and our heritage is at risk of being forgotten.

We will produce a walking trail around Braunton to highlight buildings of interest. We plan to place plaques on these properties, and produce a map to guide you to places of interest.

A dedicated website will highlight many places of interest and changes over the years.

After we launch the map and website, our work won't be finished.

We will put in place a periodic review of the buildings of interest and we may find we need to update information and even add new buildings. 

The project will remain live, subject to ongoing change. 

Today's buildings will be tomorrow's history.
