Braunton Caen was formed in 2010 by a group of Rotarians who wanted to meet in the evening away from the traditional format of Rotary. Our main aim is fun and fellowship whilst doing some good locally in the community and around the world.
As a group we are always looking for people to join us. We have thrown the rule book away and just aim to give that bit back whilst having fun.
Rotary is the largest service organisation in the world. Whilst Rotary International is the overall governing body, in Great Britain we have RIBI Rotary in Britain and Ireland overseeing the organisational work we do.
Our annual Charity Car Tour takes place in April. The event is open to all vehicles, of any age, and is an eighty mile tour of Devon’s spectacular countryside. A route map, breakfast and cream tea are included in the entrance fee.
This is a fundraiser and we seek support from the local business community to ensure as much as possible can be donated to our chosen charities. There is a fun quiz along the route and a raffle drawn at the end.
Always popular, come and join us today!
A static charity vehicle show with vehicles of all shapes and sizes designed to appeal to all ages. A true family day out with a traditional Town Band, children’s entertainment, Rotary BBQ, and stalls.
Always held on the last Sunday in July, this event has been in Braunton for over 20 years and continues to be a success for participants and visitors alike, raising many thousands of pounds for local Rotary supported charities.
Rotary and Braunton Caen Rotary can be found far and wide doing a variety of things. To find out more about what we all get up to, have a look at this small selection.
